Most conventional water treatment strategies work by changing the chemical composition of water — adding scale inhibitors, adjusting pH, or replacing dissolved minerals with sodium through ion exchange. These approaches require ongoing consumable inputs, careful management, and introduce their own handling considerations.

PV WCS works differently. The system uses a physical conditioning process to change the behaviour of dissolved minerals without removing them and without adding anything to the water. Minerals that would otherwise crystallise into hard scale on surfaces instead remain in suspension in a non-adherent form — passing through your system rather than accumulating on it.

The scale problem is not caused by minerals being present in water. It is caused by the way those minerals crystallise under heat and pressure. PV WCS addresses the root behaviour, not just the symptom.
